Congratulations to Clayton Elliott who excelled at the Lincoln Douglas UIL STATE Competition where he advanced to the finals and placed SECOND in the ENTIRE State. This journey is one that he has practiced and prepared for the last two school years. Debaters typically debate year-round in the National Speech and Debate League and not just in Texas, but they will often compete in contests across the nation. Clayton out-debated those students. This is a HUGE FEAT. We are so proud of him, and once again, he exhibits the skills of a champion. We can't shout this loud enough-CONGRATULATIONS, CLAYTON ELLIOTT!
