As we prepare for dismissal today, we want to let you know that some bus routes may be delayed in areas where flooding is present and the transportation staff may be reaching out to some parents for alternate drop-off arrangements if necessary. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we work to get all of our Bulldogs home safely this afternoon.


With temperatures not expected to rise above freezing until Wednesday afternoon, and icy road conditions still present across the district, Carthage ISD campuses will be closed on Wednesday, Jan. 17.

Carthage ISD will dismiss students early at 1 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 1 to allow buses to run regular routes before traveling to the football playoff game in Tyler.
