This week’s spotlight is on Mrs. Rocquemore, one of our awesome 3rd Grade Math & Science teachers at Libby! She brings dedication, heart, and a love for learning to her classroom every day. We’re thankful to have her on our team! ❤️

🐾⚾ We’re kicking off the weekend by sharing a few pictures from this morning’s Bulldog Buddies! A big thank you to the CHS Baseball team for helping us start our Friday off right. Players greeted students, opened car doors, and welcomed everyone into the building with smiles. We love seeing our older Bulldogs supporting our younger Bulldogs. Thank you for being such great role models! ❤️

🎉 Positive Office Referral Alert!
Big shout outs to Chelsey Dickerson, Everly Smith, Kynlee Fort, Elijah Williams, Valerie Chaney, and Oaklyn Kimich for earning Positive Office Referrals! 🎉 These studens always show up ready to learn, stay on task, and set an awesome example for their classmates.

Libby PALS is excited to kick off our 1st Annual Shoe Charm Fundraiser! 🎉 From March 23rd–April 10th, students can collect fun charms for just $1 each. No Crocs? No problem - bracelets are available for $2! 💫 All proceeds will support Field Day and Teacher Appreciation Week. Thank you for helping us make these events extra special! ❤️

🧦 Reminder – Rock Your Socks Tomorrow!

Don’t forget! Tomorrow (Monday, March 23) Libby Elementary will celebrate World Down Syndrome Day.

Students are encouraged to wear bright, mismatched, or fun socks to show support and celebrate inclusion. 💙💛

Our Think Tank students had an unforgettable time last week at Medieval Times! ⚔️👑 They enjoyed cheering on the knights and getting a glimpse of medieval history. We are so thankful to the CISD Education Foundation for supporting opportunities like this for our students!

Happy Maintenance Worker Appreciation Day! 🛠️ We’re grateful for the hardworking men who help keep Libby and all our campuses running smoothly each day. From quick fixes to big projects, they take great care of our schools and the people in them. Thank you for everything you do for our students and staff. We appreciate you today and every day! ❤️

What a fun time in the science lab! Mrs. Lovil’s class loved planting beans last week and exploring the needs of plants through hands-on learning! 🌱🫘🔬💚

🍕🙌 Big cheers for Kameron Rosborough! He earned 150 AR points and celebrated with a pizza party with friends!
