Seven Carthage students competed in theĀ Hallsville UIL Speech Tournament on October 24, 2020.Ā Congratulations to the following students who placed at the tournament. Persuasive Speaking:Ā 5th Place - William Jackson. Informative Speaking:Ā 3rd Place - Maria Piedra, 5th Place - Abigail Wilkerson, and 6th Place - Emily Hernandez. Cross-Examination (CX) Debate:Ā 4th Place - William Jackson and Maria Piedra. William Jackson was also awarded as Top Speaker in CX Debate.

English 1 students are starting the week off strong by working on editing their paper in stations. They are rotating around the room and working on it section by section. Great work happening here!


Pep rally info for today!

Students at Carthage High School are 1 to 1 with technology in the classroom. Each student has a chromebook. Thank you Coach McFall on the integration of technology in today's lesson involving Acids and Hydrates. The use of technology helped students have a deeper understanding.


Great job by our students tonight leading Fields of Faith. Such inspiring messages and hope given tonight. The music was outstanding and provided incredible energy. Thank you to our community and our students for a wonderful evening.

Due to the possibility of inclement weather. One parent of senior students involved in Cheer, Band, Aux, Belles, Homecoming Court, Football and Volleyball will be allowed to attend the pep rally. Pep Rally will be broadcast on Carthage High School Facebook Live at 3pm
